For those of you who don’t know her, let me introduce Ivy Burnham, one of the country’s best 2027 prospects. Ivy plays for the Corona Angels, and we first saw her at our Irvine Tryout in 2021. She stood out among all the other players, even as the youngest one in attendance. The following year at April’s Finest, she was one of the best young players in SoCal. It wasn’t hard to spot her enormous talent for the game, so we invited her to the Rosetta Canyon Jamboree. She was only in 7th grade at the time, but she had the size and athleticism that college coaches look for. We knew she might be in a little over her head, but we were confident that the experience would prepare her for what was to come.

Flash forward to 2023. She has put in the work and it shows. Her arm strength, speed, and athleticism has propelled her to an elite category. At the Rosetta Canyon Jamboree she put up a 104.34 Allister Index. A month later at the National Elite Camp at Mt SAC, with a huge contingent of college coaches sitting in the stands, Ivy got in the box, and the show began. Ivy launched pitch after pitch to all fields over the fence. Then balls began going over the scoreboard. College coaches from around the country were scribbling notes as they sat there taking it all in. And suddenly Ivy Burnham became a recruiting sensation.

Today, Ivy has been named the OnDeck/Alliance Player of the Month for March. We are excited to see her at the Colorado Jamboree on Monday, July 1st. We are excited about the path that lies ahead for her, and we’re proud that she is an OnDeck athlete.
