Alliance Fastpitch February Spotlight Players
The Alliance Fastpitch Spotlight Player recognition celebrates Alliance member athletes who are making a meaningful impact both on and off the field. Nominated by League Leadership, these spotlights are designed to recognize players not only for their performance in competition, but also for the leadership, character, work ethic, and example they set for their teammates and communities. We’re proud to highlight these standout athletes and congratulate our February Spotlight Players on this well-deserved recognition.
FEBRUARY SPOTLIGHT PLAYERS
Boey Brooks – NorCal Power Surge Lobao/Brooks (PCFL)
Boey earned Spotlight Player recognition after batting .429, blasting two home runs, and anchoring the defense at shortstop to help her team secure an Alliance Nationals berth.
Lexie Figueroa – AZ Thunderbolts Select 2031 (PCFL)
Lexie earned Spotlight Player recognition for her standout performances in the circle, power at the plate, and the leadership and team-first attitude she brings on and off the field.
Aliana Eubanks – Firecrackers Battle Born NV Latham (PCFL)
Aliana was nominated for her impact as a hitter and pitcher, as well as the passion, perseverance, and positive energy she brings to her team.
Reagan Fletcher – Nevada Comets (PCFL)
Reagan earned Spotlight Player recognition for her outstanding month at the plate and the important role she played in driving her team’s offense.
Jessie Hartley – AL Firecrackers 2028/2029 Davidson/McConnell (SEFL)
Jessie was nominated for an exceptional fall season in which she hit .447 with a 1.110 OPS while playing error-free defense in center field. Her standout play continued at the SEFL Fall Championships, where she hit .583 with a 1.393 OPS to help lead her team to an Alliance Nationals berth, while also setting the standard as a great teammate and student.
Addison Balavender – Tampa Mustangs Renee (SEFL)
Addison “Ding” Balavender was nominated for her dominant work in the circle and impressive start at the varsity level as a freshman. Through her first stretch of the season, she posted a 6-0 record with 74 strikeouts, a 0.368 ERA, and a .115 batting average against, while also standing out as an exceptional student and role model in her community.
Cassi Samios – Ohio Storm 2029 National (HFL)
Cassi was nominated for her athleticism and versatility in the outfield, where her advanced reads, defensive range, and strong instincts make her a dependable presence for her team. At the plate, her disciplined approach and ability to cover the gap continue to highlight her development as a dynamic all-around player.
Brooklyn Pettit – ai Bandits Breer 16u (NWFL)
Brooklyn earned Spotlight Player recognition for her outstanding start to the high school season in the circle, where she posted a 0.00 ERA with 35 strikeouts, while also making an impact at the plate with three home runs.
Lily Fogarty – NW Vandals Lafontaine/Blevens (NWFL)
Lily was nominated for her versatility as an outfielder and catcher, along with the remarkable talent and promise she continues to show as a rising young player.
Ellen Belknap – SFC Lightning (NWFL)
Ellen earned Spotlight Player recognition for her standout work as a left-handed pitcher and the important role she plays as a key contributor for her team.
Addi Danley – Idaho Batbusters Simpson (NWFL)
Addi was nominated for her versatility behind the plate and the skill she continues to showcase as an up-and-coming catcher.
Kiley Martinez – Boise Blast Mohr/Wright (NWFL)
Kiley earned Spotlight Player recognition for her athleticism and strong skill set behind the plate, along with the impact she makes for her team as a right-handed hitter.
