The Alliance Fastpitch highlights Alex Graham (2025) from the RMFL as April’s National Player of the Month, a testament to her powerful performance and leadership as an outfielder for CO 18u Batbusters National Smith.

In April, Graham posts an extraordinary .800 batting average and an on-base percentage of .833. She tallied 11 singles, 4 doubles, 4 home runs, and drove in 19 RBIs. Graham accomplished this all without striking out once. She also drew 4 walks, contributing to an impressive 2.233 OPS and a slugging percentage of 1.4.

Graham’s softball journey began with her father, a former Division I baseball player, who taught her everything from how to hold a bat to how to respect the game. From a young age, she chased his legacy, finding joy in the small moments that led to a pursuit of greatness. Now, softball is more than a sport for Graham. It is a lifestyle, a craving, and a relentless chase to become the player her younger self dreamed of.

One of her most cherished softball memories took place on September 1st of her junior year, a day that ignites anxiety and anticipation for much of the softball community. After months of prayer and relentless effort, she woke up to a recruiting message from Hofstra University, the school she would inevitably commit to continue her academic and athletic career. Overcome with emotion, she realized that every sacrifice and hour of hard work over the past decade had been worth it. In that moment, she knew little Alex would have been proud.

Inspired by her favorite player, Skylar Wallace, Graham strives to emulate Wallace’s discipline, drive, and passion. Off the diamond, she finds fulfillment in her steadfast faith. Graham’s core value of faith encourages her to pursue a deeper relationship with God daily, sharing His love with teammates, coaches and peers. With a softball in her hand, Graham finds a unique closeness to her faith, blending passion with purpose.

Currently, Graham is focused on making her final travel season unforgettable. After eight summers of travel softball, she aims to give the game her best before transitioning to collegiate play. At Hofstra, her goal is to be the kind of player Coach Clark is proud to have recruited. To do that, she aims to stay on top of her academics, work hard, and remaining true to herself.

The Alliance Fastpitch commends Alex Graham on her well-deserved recognition as National Player of the Month, celebrating her outstanding contributions to the sport and her unwavering commitment to excellence.

What is the Alliance Fastpitch Player Recognition Program?

The Player Recognition Program was built to recognize and spotlight our individual players in each Member League. Each month, registered Alliance Fastpitch coaches can nominate a player from their age division. League Leadership will review nominations and a monthly stats report

from AthletesGoLive (AGL) to determine the League’s Player of the Month.

Following the announcement of each League’s Players of the Month, the Alliance Fastpitch will recognize a National Player of the Month. To be considered for Player of the Month, your team must score League games in AGL so your stats will be included in the League’s monthly report.
