Emmaline Humphreys Named Alliance Fastpitch National Pitcher of the Month for July
The Alliance Fastpitch proudly announces Emmaline Humphreys (2026) of the Rocky Mountain Fastpitch League as the National Pitcher of the Month for July 2025. A standout for CO Batbusters 18U National Smith and a Stanford commit, Emmaline dominates the circle with both composure and firepower. Over the course of the month, she racks up 58 strikeouts in just 36 innings, maintaining an impressive 0.78 ERA.
Her journey through softball has been both challenging and transformative. What began as an outlet to challenge her mind and body evolved into something even more meaningful after a major setback. In the spring of her sophomore year, Emmaline tears her ACL—a moment that could have ended her momentum, but instead reignites her love for the game. Physical therapy is grueling, but the yearlong recovery teaches her resilience and deepens her appreciation for every inning, pitch, and moment on the field.
She returns to competition with a renewed spirit, driven by the perspective of knowing what it feels like to be without the game. That passion is evident every time she takes the mound.
One of Emmaline’s most cherished softball memories takes her back to her freshman year, when she unexpectedly earns the start in the state tournament finals. Going head-to-head with future Division I athletes, she rises to the occasion, proud of the hard work that earned her the moment—and amazed by just how far she has come.
Emmaline looks up to Megan Faraimo, admiring her fierce passion and dominance in the circle. Off the field, Emmaline finds peace and balance in rock climbing, hiking, and spending time with loved ones.
Her current goals stretch beyond just stats. While she’s always working toward low ERAs and high strikeout counts, her focus remains on being a lifelong student of the game—constantly improving and preparing for the highest levels of competition. Off the field, she strives to walk more closely with Jesus, grow as a person, and excel in rigorous academic challenges as she prepares for her future at Stanford University.
The Alliance Fastpitch celebrates Emmaline Humphreys not only for her elite performance in July, but also for the strength, character, and determination that define her journey. Her recognition as National Pitcher of the Month is both well-earned and well-deserved.
What is the Alliance Fastpitch Player Recognition Program?
The Player Recognition Program was built to recognize and spotlight our individual players in each Member League. Each month, League Leadership receives and reviews a detailed stats report from AthletesGoLive (AGL). Based on this report, the committee selects League Players of the Month.
Following the announcement of each League’s Players of the Month, the Alliance Fastpitch will recognize a National Player of the Month. To be considered for Player of the Month, your team must score League games in AGL so your stats will be included in the League’s monthly report.
