Adalyn Leyva Named Alliance Fastpitch National Player of the Month For November

Leyva NPOM Nov

The Alliance Fastpitch proudly announces Adalyn Leyva (Class of 2030) from the CFL as a National Player of the Month for her remarkable play in November 2025. A versatile player for Epic OKC National, Leyva competes as an outfielder, first baseman, and pitcher. At the plate, Leyva records a .449 batting average, a 1.480 OPS, and a .980 slugging percentage, 6 singles, and 20 RBIs.

Leyva’s softball story begins unexpectedly. “My softball career started on a random day my dad had saw a Facebook post asking for players and I was like let’s try it out why not.” From that first experience, she knows the sport is right for her. “I went out and it was so fun and I loved it a lot more than cheer which is what I was doing before softball.”

As she continues playing, watching college softball becomes a major source of motivation. “Once I started, I was watching college games and videos, and I wanted to be just like them one day, so that really pushed me to be the best player possible.” Leyva makes her commitment clear, saying, “I knew I was never stopping til my dreams come true, and I still stand by this.” She adds, “This sport is so much more than just a game to me and I would do anything to get to the top.”

A favorite softball memory for Leyva comes in a high-pressure moment. “My favorite memory of softball was when my team was down by 2 and we had 2 outs and 2 runners on and I hit the walk off homerun to win the game.” She notes the moment carried extra meaning, explaining, “That felt so good to be able to do that for my team after allowing 2 of those runs too score against us early in the game.”

Leyva names Jordy Bahl as her favorite player. Outside of softball, she says she likes to “hang out with friends and family.” Her goals are: “Graduate high school with a 4.0 gpa or higher, start on varsity as a freshman in high school, be the best player/teammate, and be a good and genuine person all around.

The Alliance Fastpitch recognizes Adalyn Leyva for her performance and dedication as a Player of the Month.
