Azlynn Fyall Named Alliance Fastpitch National Pitcher of the Month for March
The Alliance Fastpitch proudly announces Azlynn Fyall from the TFL as Player of the Month for her remarkable play in March 2025. Azlynn, a versatile player for 12u Texas Glory, excels in multiple positions—OF, 1B, P. Her March stats include 16.2 innings pitched, she had 29 strikeouts and a 0.84 ERA.
Azlynn Fyall’s softball journey begins in her hometown of Canton, Texas, where she joins her first t-ball team, The Unicorns, alongside close friends. Early on, her parents recognize her natural ability and encourage her development through lessons and open workouts. Determined to grow, Azlynn consistently attends open practices with 8U teams in the Dallas-Fort Worth area twice a week and on weekends. Her dedication pays off when she is finally asked to “pick up” with one of the teams—a moment that cements her drive and never-give-up mentality. That experience leads her to try out for her first Texas Glory softball team, marking the start of her competitive softball career.
One of Azlynn’s most treasured memories takes place in Colorado during a high-stakes tournament. Her team trails by six runs in the bottom of the third inning, but they rally to pull off an unforgettable comeback, winning 13–7. As the final run crosses the plate, her dad celebrates behind the outfield fence, doing cartwheels and tossing his Celsius energy drink into the air—an image that still brings laughter and joy.
Inspired by LSU’s two-time Gold Glove outfielder Ciara Briggs, Azlynn brings that same level of grit and passion to her own game. Outside the diamond, she finds fulfillment and peace in her weekly Bible study with friends, a grounding tradition that brings balance to her busy schedule.
Azlynn’s goals reflect both ambition and heart. She aims to be inducted into the National Junior Honor Society, compete at the Power Four collegiate level, and eventually pursue a career in the medical field. Along the way, she hopes to inspire fellow athletes to be not just great competitors, but also great teammates. The Alliance Fastpitch commends [Athlete Name] on her well-deserved recognition as Player of the Month, acknowledging her outstanding contributions to the sport and her commitment to personal and athletic growth.
What is the Alliance Fastpitch Player Recognition Program?
The Player Recognition Program was built to recognize and spotlight our individual players in each Member League. Each month, registered Alliance Fastpitch coaches can nominate a player from their age division. League Leadership will review nominations and a monthly stats report from AthletesGoLive (AGL) to determine the League’s Player of the Month.
Following the announcement of each League’s Players of the Month, the Alliance Fastpitch will recognize a National Player of the Month. To be considered for Player of the Month, your team must score League games in AGL so your stats will be included in the League’s monthly report.
