The Alliance Fastpitch proudly announces Hannah Wells (2025) from the CFL as National Player of the Month for her remarkable play in October 2025. Hannah Wells, a versatile player for Oklahoma Athletics 18U National Madden, excels on the mound pitching. Her October stats include a .562 batting average, a .636 OBP, 5 homeruns, 1 double 3 singles, and 15 RBIs. Through 13.2 innings pitched, she had 17 strikeouts and a .51 ERA.
Hannah Wells begins her softball journey at the age of four or five, and from that moment on, she falls in love with the game. Growing up, her parents are huge fans of Cat Osterman, and as they cheer for her, Hannah becomes captivated by the sport as well. Her admiration for Cat and the Texas softball program sparks a dream that continues to drive her—to one day play at the University of Texas.
A cherished memory for Hannah is the Colorado tournament, where she creates lasting memories with both her family and teammates. The competition at this tournament is fierce, and Hannah relishes the chance to compete alongside some of her closest friends. These experiences hold a special place in her heart, and she treasures the moments shared on and off the field.
Hannah’s favorite players are Cat Osterman and Monica Abbott, two icons of the sport who inspire her every day. Outside of softball, Hannah enjoys simple yet fulfilling activities like cleaning, spending time with her family, and working out to stay in peak physical condition.
Currently, Hannah has set high academic and athletic goals for herself. She aims to finish in the top two of her class with a perfect 4.0 GPA. In athletics, she recently reaches a long-term milestone of pitching 70 mph, and now she’s focused on hitting the 71 mph mark. Looking ahead, her ultimate goal is to win a national championship and continue growing as both an athlete and a person. The Alliance Fastpitch commends Hannah Wells on her well-deserved recognition as Player of the Month, acknowledging her outstanding contributions to the sport and her commitment to personal and athletic growth.
What is the Alliance Fastpitch Player Recognition Program?
The Player Recognition Program was built to recognize and spotlight our individual players in each Member League. Each month, registered Alliance Fastpitch coaches can nominate a player from their age division. League Leadership will review nominations and a monthly stats report from AthletesGoLive (AGL) to determine the League’s Player of the Month.
Following the announcement of each League’s Players of the Month, the Alliance Fastpitch will recognize a National Player of the Month. To be considered for Player of the Month, your team must score League games in AGL so your stats will be included in the League’s monthly report.
