Olivia DiSalvo Named Alliance National Pitcher of the Month for June

The Alliance Fastpitch proudly announces Olivia DiSalvo (2025) from the NEFL as the National Pitcher of the Month for her remarkable play in June 2025. DiSalvo, a talented pitcher for Batbusters-Fry (18u) and a SUNY Cortland commit, shined in the circle with 25.2 innings pitched, 25 strikeouts, a 0.82 WHP, and a 1.64 ERA, earning a 3–1 record for the month.

DiSalvo’s softball journey began at just four years old with T-ball. While she tried other sports, softball became her constant, especially after her sister became sick with a chronic illness. The game became an outlet—a way to cope and push forward during hard times at home. Joining the Batbusters organization five and a half years ago deepened her love for the sport, giving her a close-knit community where teammates became a second family.

A cherished softball memory for DiSalvo is traveling the country for tournaments with her teammates, strengthening their bond while exploring places she might never have seen otherwise.

Her favorite player is Rachel Garcia, whose example taught DiSalvo that pitchers can contribute offensively if they work hard enough. Outside of softball, DiSalvo is dedicated to community service, from Girl Scouts projects to helping with local Little League programs, carrying forward the values of giving back that she was raised on.

Her current goals are to continue preparing for her college softball career and one day become a coach to mentor kids who love the sport as much as she does. DiSalvo’s selection as National Pitcher of the Month reflects her exceptional talent and relentless pursuit of excellence, and The Alliance Fastpitch is proud to recognize her achievements.

What is the Alliance Fastpitch Player Recognition Program? 

The Player Recognition Program was built to recognize and spotlight our individual players in each Member League. Each month, registered Alliance Fastpitch coaches can nominate a player from their age division. League Leadership will review nominations and a monthly stats report from AthletesGoLive (AGL) to determine the League’s Player of the Month.

Following the announcement of each League’s Players of the Month, the Alliance Fastpitch will recognize a National Player of the Month. To be considered for Player of the Month, your team must score League games in AGL so your stats will be included in the League’s monthly report.
