Jayelyn Luft Named Alliance Fastpitch National Player of the Month for July
The Alliance Fastpitch proudly announces Jayelyn Luft (2029) of the Northeast Fastpitch League as the National Player of the Month for her outstanding performance in July 2025. A dynamic athlete for Team Pennsylvania Hall/Madison, Jayelyn makes her mark both in the circle and at first base.
During the month of July, she posts impressive offensive numbers: a .537 batting average, .568 OBP, 22 singles, 7 RBIs, and an OPS of 1.105. Her consistency at the plate and versatility on the field showcase her as a key contributor to her team’s success.
Jayelyn’s softball journey begins at age 7, inspired by her mother—a former collegiate player at Penn State University. What draws her to the game isn’t just the stats, but the intangible aspects: competing, the camaraderie, and the pressure of big moments. She thrives in the game she loves, surrounded by her twin sister and teammates.
Among her many memories, two stand out. The first is competing in the 2024 Softball Little League World Series in Greenville, NC, where she and her teammates experienced the spotlight of a global stage. The second is a thrilling runner-up finish at the Orville Fire in the Sky tournament, where her team competed against 118 teams and played in front of a roaring crowd—with fireworks closing out the night.
Jayelyn looks up to Mia Scott from Texas, admiring her energy and style of play. Off the field, she enjoys country music concerts and high school football games, embracing the full spirit of student-athlete life.
Currently, Jayelyn is working hard to earn a starting spot on Hempfield Area High School’s competitive softball team. She’s also laser-focused on her pitching goals—hoping to hit 65mph on her fastball by sophomore year, a milestone she’s inching closer to every day.

The Player Recognition Program was built to recognize and spotlight our individual players in each Member League. Each month, League Leadership receives and reviews a detailed stats report from AthletesGoLive (AGL). Based on this report, the committee selects League Players of the Month.
Following the announcement of each League’s Players of the Month, the Alliance Fastpitch will recognize a National Player of the Month. To be considered for Player of the Month, your team must score League games in AGL so your stats will be included in the League’s monthly report.
