Madison DeLano named Alliance Fastpitch National Pitcher of the Month for October
The Alliance Fastpitch proudly recognizes Madison Delano (2027) from the NEFL as the Alliance National Pitcher of the Month for her outstanding performance in October 2025. Dominating in the circle, Delano throws 10 innings, allows just six hits, strikes out 19 batters, and posts a 0.70 ERA, while also contributing offensively with four hits, including one single and three doubles, driving in five RBIs and recording a 1.431 OPS.
DeLano’s softball journey began at the age of five, when she started playing baseball as a pitcher. After two years, she transitioned to softball at age seven, joining a learn-to-play/tee-ball team. That same year, she also began pitching in softball and was brought up to the 10U level due to a team need for a pitcher. Madison spent four years playing 10U and joined South Shore Chaos during her first year at that level. Inspired by her older sister, who also played for South Shore Chaos, Madison had the opportunity to play up—competing with the 16U team at age 10 and the 18U team at age 12. Her dad served as her coach until this season and has remained her biggest supporter throughout her softball career.
A cherished softball memory for her took place during her second year of 12U. After a rough start to the weekend, her team went 0–3 in pool play. On Championship Sunday, facing single elimination, the team knew they had to dig deep. Madison pitched every inning across three consecutive games, leading her team all the way to a hard-fought tournament championship.
A current goal of the 2027 on the field is to continue growing both as a teammate and as a player. She is focused on developing her skills while also becoming a stronger presence for her team. Through hard work, experience, and leadership, Madison is committed to elevating her game and supporting those around her.
The Alliance Fastpitch commends Madison Delano on this well-earned honor, recognizing her dominance in the circle and her all-around impact as a student-athlete.
What is the Alliance Fastpitch Player Recognition Program?
The Player Recognition Program was built to recognize and spotlight our individual players in each Member League. Each month, League Leadership receives and reviews a detailed stats report from AthletesGoLive (AGL). Based on this report, the committee selects League Players of the Month.
Following the announcement of each League’s Players of the Month, the Alliance Fastpitch will recognize a National Player of the Month. To be considered for Player of the Month, your team must score League games in AGL so your stats will be included in the League’s monthly report.
