Alliance Fastpitch April Spotlight Players
The Alliance Fastpitch Spotlight Player recognition celebrates Alliance member athletes who are making a meaningful impact both on and off the field. Nominated by League Leadership, these spotlights are designed to recognize players not only for their performance in competition, but also for the leadership, character, work ethic, and example they set for their teammates and communities. We’re proud to highlight these standout athletes and congratulate our February Spotlight Players on this well-deserved recognition.
APRIL SPOTLIGHT PLAYERS
Valeria Brignoni – Ohio Lasers 2032 Zuercher (HFL)
Valeria was nominated for the leadership, poise, and team-first attitude she brings to her squad, along with her outstanding production both at the plate and in the circle. Through 22 games this spring, she hit .488 with an .854 slugging percentage, 25 RBIs, and 10 doubles, while also posting a 2.70 ERA with 43 strikeouts in 34 innings and just 6 walks in 147 batters faced.
Amelia Spiron – NJ Gators 12u Costello (NEFL)
Amelia earned Spotlight Player recognition for the work she brings in the circle as a right-handed pitcher and the impact she makes as an important contributor for her team.
Gia Gill – NJ Pride (NEFL)
Gia was nominated for her efforts in the circle and the promise she continues to show as a young pitcher making an impact for her team.
Amelia Hovanec – Pittsburgh Tigers (NEFL)
Amelia earned Spotlight Player recognition for her work in the circle and the determination and effort she brings as a pitcher for her team.
Amelia Finau – OC Batbusters Legaspi-Kiaha 12u (PCFL)
Amelia “Lia” Finau earned Spotlight Player recognition for the power she brings to the plate, her versatility as both a pitcher and first baseman, and the dedication and love for the game that continue to set her apart.
Brooklyn Falls – Firecrackers Brashear (PCFL)
Brooklyn was nominated for her standout performance at the plate and strong presence at first base, hitting .372 with 21 RBIs while leading her team in home runs. A pure hitter with power and consistency, she continues to make a major impact for her team on both sides of the ball.
Aleiah Estevez – Firecrackers Brashear/Thornburg 2029 (PCFL)
Aleiah earned Spotlight Player recognition for the dynamic impact she makes at the top of the lineup, where she can hit for both contact and power while creating pressure on the bases with her speed and instincts. Defensively, she anchors the infield at shortstop with outstanding range, a strong arm, and the leadership, athleticism, and coachability that set her apart.
Isabela Sanchez – OC Batbusters Legacy- Lara (PCFL)
Isabela “Bela” Sanchez was nominated for the leadership and high standard she brings to her team every day. A UC Santa Barbara commit, PCFL All-Star, and Alliance Fastpitch All-Star Watch List athlete, Bela continues to stand out as a proven competitor who thrives in big moments and knows what it takes to perform at an elite level.
Mireya Garcia – Corona Angels Smith/Tyson 2033 (PCFL)
Mireya earned Spotlight Player recognition for her production at the top of the lineup, where she hit .444 with a 1.409 OPS, 12 hits, 16 runs, and 9 stolen bases. A versatile slapper and steady shortstop, she also posted a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage with zero errors during the month of April.
