Alliance Fastpitch Unveils 2026 All-Stars Ahead of Sixth Annual All-Star Game

The Alliance Fastpitch is proud to unveil the 2026 Alliance All-Stars, recognizing the top senior softball athletes across Alliance Fastpitch. Representing all nine Alliance Member Leagues, these elite players will compete in the sixth annual Alliance All-Star Game presented by EvoShield.

The 2026 Alliance All-Star Game is set for July 19, 2026, in Kokomo, Indiana, and will take place between the 10U/12U and 16U/18U Alliance Fastpitch Championship Series (AFCS). The game will air live on ESPN+ at 6 p.m. ET.

Alliance All-Stars are selected by the National All-Star Committee, chaired by Derek Allister, founder of OnDeck Softball, with representatives from each of the nine Alliance Member Leagues. The selection process begins in the fall with a preliminary Watch List, narrows to League All-Star Teams, and culminates in the final roster of Alliance All-Stars. All selected athletes must be active members of Alliance Fastpitch.

All-Star Selection Process

Throughout the season, the National All-Star Committee evaluates a variety of factors in selecting the final All-Stars. The committee actively consults college coaches regarding the athletes they have signed and recruited, while also gathering input from travel ball coaches and conducting internal cross-checks to ensure accuracy and fairness.

League voting plays an important role in narrowing the field of candidates. From there, the committee builds a balanced roster with attention to primary positions, top performers from the League All-Star lists, and overall team construction. Pitching and catching depth, defensive and offensive skill sets, and athlete versatility are all considered. Outfielders are evaluated for both offensive production and defensive ability, while the infield is constructed to include middle infielders, corner players and utility athletes.

All selected athletes are set to begin their collegiate softball careers at NCAA Division I institutions this fall. Every Power 4 conference is represented, with the SEC leading the group with 20 athletes, followed by the Big Ten with seven, the ACC with seven, the Big 12 with five, and one mid-major representative from Conference USA.

2026 Alliance All-Star Athlete Representation Highlights

• At least one player from each of the nine Alliance Member Leagues 
• 16 travel organizations represented, including first-time All-Star organization Team Pennsylvania 
• 26 different NCAA colleges represented 
• All Power 4 conferences represented 
• Texas A&M leads with four All-Star signees, while Nebraska, Texas, Florida and Oklahoma State each have three 
• One mid-major program is represented: Liberty University 

Alliance Player Recognition

Many of these All-Stars have built their travel ball careers within Alliance Fastpitch, now entering its fifth season. These athletes have competed at events including the AFCS, Super Cup Series and Stars of Tomorrow. Along the way, many have earned Alliance player honors such as All-Tournament Team selections, Player of the Month recognition, Most Outstanding Player honors and AFCS Skills Challenge awards.

Additional Honors

Several 2026 Alliance All-Stars have also earned recognition on the national stage for their accomplishments on the field, in the classroom and within their communities. Abreya Perry (Texas A&M) was recognized by Extra Inning Softball as the No. 2-ranked player in the Extra Elite 100 for the 2026 class, while Alexi Thigpen (Mississippi State) has been celebrated for her elite speed after stealing more than 100 bases in a season twice. Peyton May (Oklahoma State) has also built an impressive Alliance résumé, earning Stars of Tomorrow Point Leader honors in 2024 and AFCS All-Tournament recognition in 2025. 

Kale’a Tindal (Stanford) was named No. 5 in the 2026 Line Drive Hot 100, and Ella Kate Smith (Oklahoma) has earned recognition as a WBSC U-18 World Cup champion and reigning District 19-6A MVP. Annie Newman (Kentucky) was named the 2025 ESPN Owensboro Softball Player of the Year, earned First Team All-State honors, and was ranked No. 10 in the 2026 Hot 100. Maggie Krause (Tennessee) has also stood out with a dominant spring performance that included a 14-strikeout shutout and a two-home run game. 

Additional All-Stars bringing notable honors into this year’s event include Jayden Kleiner (Michigan), who is set to continue her career with the Wolverines, and Ryleigh Perks (Virginia Tech), a Virginia Tech signee and 2021 USA All-American PVS Athlete. Together, these accomplishments reflect the elite talent and national recognition represented across the 2026 Alliance All-Star roster. 

Alliance American vs. Alliance National History

The 2026 Alliance All-Star Game will once again feature the Alliance American and Alliance National teams, continuing one of the premier traditions in Alliance Fastpitch. Previous matchups have produced memorable moments:

• 2021: National Team narrowly defeated the American Team, 10-9. 
• 2022: American Team secured a 4-0 shutout behind dominant pitching from NiJa Canady (Stanford) and Sydney Berzon (LSU). 
• 2023: National Team claimed a 3-1 victory, powered by an Ella Parker (Oklahoma) home run. 
• 2024: The contest ended in a dramatic 4-4 tie, resulting in the first co-champions in event history. Ella McDowell of the American Team opened the scoring with a two-run RBI single, while Taylor Shumaker helped spark the National Team comeback. Townsen Thomas, the National Team’s Offensive Player of the Game, delivered an RBI triple to tie the contest heading into the bottom of the seventh. 
• 2025: National Team earned a 6-1 victory behind a seven-hit performance, highlighted by a 2 run home run from Elsa Morrison. 

As the Alliance celebrates the sixth annual All-Star Game, fans can expect elite talent, high-level competition and outstanding sportsmanship on display at Kokomo High School Softball Stadium on July 19.
